oh great goods of dell! i loathe you with the marrow of my bones! so. apparently they were going to deliver my laptop battery to my house while my mom would be in china. so i called them to either a) change the delivery address to my house or b) delay the delivery. and they told me to cancel my order and reorder. and i'd have to go through

Since we have the same laptop I can think of a suggestion to your battery issue, temporarily. I have an old battery for Metatron which while it no longer holds a charge (or does so for about 10 minutes), as long as it's plugged into the wall the computer will stay on. It's at home, so if you want I can ask my parents to ship it to you.
