Lyrical Nerditry
The following is at the intersection of two things that normally don't mix. Possibly three things.
Christian Kane lyrics, and "Songs sung by Dungeons & Dragons bards". The result below a cut tag to spare those who aren't amused by the idea.
Basically, I got the idea stuck in my head for a Dwarven Bard singing Christian Kane's "Whiskey In Mind", because, well, it's about whiskey. But because it's a dwarf, I had to put it into stereotypical Scottish Burr for the whole bit.
It's times like this that I miss having my halfling bard, Perry. Little guy could rock a magically enchanted lute to bust out the Journey tunes. Anyhow, on with the butchering!

Mindin' my own business, tryin' no' ta think
Bartender came on o'er with a shot o' his best
Said this ones from th' lady in th' long black dress
She came waltzin' 'roun' th' corner, "Anybody sittin' here?"
Started takin' off her glasses an' lettin' down her hair
I said "Thank ye fer th' drink, ma'am. How'd ye know me brand?"
She said there's certain things a woman kin tell abou' a man

Or th' slow burn o' East Riftter's rye?
Just when I thought I lost her in petty conversation
She said "Slide o'er an' kiss me, I go' more than whiskey in mine!"
Oh man, me heart was jumpin', shakin' on th' stool
She moved a li'l closer, an' I tried t' play it cool
The band started rockin', it was kinna hard t' hear
I ordered us a double, we chased it wit' a beer
I said

Or th' slow burn o' East Riftter's rye?
Just when I thought I lost her in petty conversation
She said "Slide o'er an' kiss me, I go' more than whiskey in mine!"
I started gettin' dizzy from th' liquor on her lips
