Okay. I find this more than slightly disconcerting.

This morning, I received five soliciting phone calls in the span of about twenty minutes. My mind immediately flashed back to when my credit card had been stolen months ago

Just because something is online does not mean it is legal...have you talked to the police? I really don't know but imagine they'd be interested especially with the history of having been a victim of identity theft already.

Oh, this is most definitely not legal. I just don't know where I'd start, honestly. It's not something I can take to my local police, right? They'd have no jurisdiction on it.

They would direct you to the proper agency though (and maybe they do look into this sort of stuff??).
