He kept his attention on Karasu, even as he waved Youda away, "No, there is nothing further. Perhaps take Shura out to get some ice cream or something."
For a long moment Yomi regarded Karasu silently, eyes, wonderful, seeing eyes, roaming over the others figure. "Yes," he said at last. "Yes, I am very fortunate that my son is doing well." A faint ironic smile. "I do so wonder where he came upon those genes."
Violet eyes followed Youda coolly, flickering over him before his attention turned back to Yomi, lips pulling back into an effortless smile.
"Well one can hope his parentage has to do with it...as well as nurturing." he added, not in a bored tone but in one that was...still rather overly clam, testing himself and Yomi's motives, so to speak.
"He has never proven to be a bother so I saw no reason for not helping him...where I could." he added, eying Yomi in return just as boldly. Certainly wary of the other's powers and yet not afraid
"None the less," he continued, easily lifting the bottle of wine, uncorking it and pouring out two glasses, "I thank you for looking after him. I fear he often finds himself... overlooked." He offered one glass to Karasu, holding the other lightly to his face, the rim resting so gently against his lower lip.
"Now, I must admit, I called you here for another reason as well."
He leaned forward to accept the glass of fine, the humanlike visage finally fading into a more...natural form. That mask was of course still not present, safely tucked into his pocket as he gazed upon the elder demon curiously.
"Oh...?" a slim ebon brow arched, his avian, morbid curiosity pricked once more.
"What could the Lord Yomi wish with myself?" Flattered already...if a little wary once more.
A wry smile danced across his lips as he took a sip of his wine before setting the glass down. "I believe we have a common interest, one that none of our... compatriots... share. At least not in quite the way we do. Naturally, I am speaking of the red headed kitsune that causes us both so much... hm. Vexation, perhaps?"
