Do not think of it as mare annoyance.
It also proves your time management skill, which I heard was crucial in post-secondary education.

According to a science article I was reading,
a research was conducted on human memory retention;
if you do not recap on the information retained within first 24 hours, you'll forget 46% of it the next day.
When the week has passed and the questionnaires were asked, people who did not recap that entire week only remembered 6% of the content.
Try recapping in the methods that works for you.
