So there you have it. Morikawa Toshiyuki delivering body-tingling dialogue to your hotly embarrassed ears. Or maybe that`s just me. I may not be susceptible to carefully crafted words designed to make my heart beat quicker (darn you, marketing geniuses for playing our heartstrings) but I am a total sucker for his sexy voice. Ya, I would pay $4.99 a minute to talk to that wink wink, nudge nudge.
Apparently, this track is from a series of CDs called Ai no POEM Tsuki Kotobaseme [Tiara]. I think there`ve been 6 so far and each features a different seiyuu so if you`re interested and not afraid to walk into a bit of BL territory, you should check out the Tiara website for their stuff. You can purchase the CD from whence this track came from HMV Japan or wherever you usually get drama CDs and Japanese or anime type stuff.
I use HMV because the lady (Momo!san) is awesome. Good selection, impeccable quality, always prompt. I`ve never actually seen her before but I imagine she is beautiful but stern and wears a flawlessly pressed navy suit with a crisp white button down blouse-

(This post was written weeks ago but I never got around to posting it until now.)
I was looking for my favourite Morikawa voice track (hoping to spread the love) to put up here when my mother bustled into the room asking about lunch. I turned the screen towards her and jokingly asked what she thought of me marrying this particular 43 year old man. She turned all business.
"He`s handsome. Is he rich?"
I said yes (when really, I have no idea but he`s in every damn anime I`ve ever watched whether as a main character, major side character or an extra and he has released an unfathomable number of character image songs and drama CDs - this doesn`t even take into consideration his personal appearances, media interviews and stage performances - so if he`s prudent with money, it stands to reason that he would be sufficiently well to do). Whatever.
He`s affable, conscientious and so easy to love regardless of his bank balance. Tell me what hardworking man isn`t attractive.
My mother nodded her offhanded blessing and went on to suggest doughnuts as sustenance. Despite our various differences in most things, I`m happy that I can take comfort in knowing I can count on my mother to support me in my celebrity romance endeavours.
