Uryuu’s Point of View
Beautiful, Intelligent and Elegant, that’s her, Inoue Orihime. I love her but the sad part is she can never be mine.
I started to like her last June. She’s seating beside me at that time and we always talked. The way she moves, the way she smiles, the way she looks at me, and her other actions never fail to make my heart flutter.
But October came and that teacher decided to change the seating arrangement. She’s 5 seats away from me and even though there are 5 persons between us, I could still see her every move with these small eyes of mine.
As usual, only few of my classmates went to school today. They’re absent because they’re either lazy to go to school or they really have a good reason not to go to classes. But they chose the wrong day to be absent. We have a quiz today and I think they’ll automatically be zero if they’re absent today.
As I turned my head around to count the vacant seats in our classroom, just to know how many classmates of mine are absent today, I noticed that there’s a vacant seat at the back of Orihime’s place. Should I transfer there? Will she notice that I transferred there just to be close to her place? Will she really care if I transfer there?
“Hey Uryuu!!! Where the hell are you staring at???” Ichigo yelled. Kurosaki Ichigo, The luckiest guy who’s seating beside Orihime right now.
“Ah no, I’m just thinking about something.”
“Oh Come on! I know you could totally perfect this quiz, stop reviewing already!!! Oh, transfer at Orihime’s back, nobody is seating there, so you know…I could copy from you.”
“Shh!!!!” I moved my head towards the direction of our teacher. He suddenly kept quiet.
“See? Our teacher didn’t react; it only means she never heard what I’m saying. Hey! Don’t change the topic, just transfer there already, we’re friends right?”
I transferred and sat behind Orihime’s place ‘coz I don’t have a choice. I want to be near her at the same time, Ichigo’s calling me to sit here. Refusing to sit there is not an option ‘coz a chance to be near Orihime comes rarely so I have to grab this opportunity. She’s always with her friends and I can’t even butt in ‘coz they’re all girls and I couldn’t relate to their topic at all.
“Ok, keep all your notes. We’ll start the quiz now.” Our teacher said. What the- I haven’t even reviewed all of my notes yet. I just hope I could answer everything on that quiz
“This is a 10 items quiz, #1…”
After 20 minutes
“Last number”
W-what? Last number already? I haven’t even answered some numbers. I wonder if the quiz is too easy for Orihime. She’s not making any signs that she doesn’t know the answer, unlike Ichigo, who keeps on looking at my paper only to find out that I haven’t answered some questions.
“Pass your papers now”
I guess...I don’t really have a choice but to guess the questions that I haven’t answered. As I passed my paper after guessing some of my answers, I saw Orihime smiling. Maybe she’s confident that she got all the answers right.
Ichigo went to the back of our classroom, beside Asano Keigo and Kojima Mizuiro, when the quiz ended. The 3 of them brought their guitars ‘coz they’ll gonna teach Mizuiro on how to play it. Mizuiro does have a guitar but he doesn’t know how to play it.
“Orihime, come on over here” shouted Arisawa Tatsuki, her best friend. She went to Tatsuki’s place and I turned my head to look at her. Then, I noticed that Ichigo, Keigo and Mizuiro are seating on the floor and they’re near Orhime and Tatsuki’s place.
“Hey! Ishida, you know how to play the guitar right? Can you come here and help us?” called Mizuiro, another opportunity to be near Orihime. I went to where those 3 are and I sat beside Ichigo.
“What’s the problem” I asked.
“Ichigo forgot the chords of I’ll be there by Faber Drive. Do you know the chords of that song?” asked Mizuiro.
“Hey! Ichigo! Stop shaking the guitar, it won’t help you to remember the chords anyway” said Keigo.
“Just shut up, watch and learn” said Ichigo.
“No, you shut up and watch and learn” I retorted. “I do know the chords of that song.” I boasted. Well, I do really know it and as I start to strum the guitar, I leaned on the nearest chair in our place. I know somebody’s seating there right now, but I don’t know who’s the one sitting there.
“Umm…Uryuu” I looked behind my back and stopped strumming to find the person who said that only to find out that Orihime is the one speaking. “You’re leaning at me” she added.
“Ah I’m sorry” I said. As I was about to sit properly without leaning at her-
“Ah, It’s ok, I’m just shocked that you leaned at me. But I don’t worry, its ok” she replied. I continued to lean at her. Why did I forgot that she’s sitting there? What the- if she’s sitting there, it only means that she heard me boast to Ichigo a while ago. Now, I have to impress her.
“The 3 of you, sing the song and I’ll strum it” As I started strumming, the 3 of them sang the song.

It’s like the time stopped running and the sound of my heart beat is the only thing that I could hear. I’m sure that my heart beat started sounding like that when I realized that I’m leaning at Orihime. This is the only time that I’ve noticed that the 3 of them are already singing the chorus part

OMG!!! This is the 1st fic that I’ve finished within the day!!! Yay!!!! It usually took me 1 month to finish a fic (‘coz I don’t have any inspiration) But I do have one today xD ’coz as I’ve said above, this is somewhat based in real life
