Letter to Conrad

Conrad,

How is my English going? Murata corrected for me. As much as he said he could, anyway.

How are you? Is it nice there? We all miss you.

Lots has been happening here. Greta lost a tooth the other day, and so I told her the story about the tooth fairy. Did you know that there is no tooth fairy here? With a little help from the other Greta’s material collection and Kohi, we put together a Tooth Fairy to get her tooth from under her pillow. She was really excited to see that the tooth fairy had come by, but I probably shouldn’t have given Kohi yen to put under her pillow. Wolfram says that she can exchange it for Mazoku money. I wonder that the exchange rate is here.

Lady Cheri saw the yen though, and likes the way it looks. She said that she’ll trade Greta a new doll for it. I saw the doll too, it’s got a pretty china face and china hands and feet and curly hair. Makes me think she had it before and was just looking for a reason to give Greta the doll.

Both the girls are doing very well, and are getting used to having each other around. I think that with a little more time they really will be the best of friends. Isn’t that wonderful?

When you come home, things will be almost completely back to normal. The kitchen has been fixed, the barracks are rebuilt, and a lot of the doubles have gone back to their worlds. Not all of them, but a good many. The other Yozak is gone, and the other Cheri, some of the dead people that came back went back to being dead rather quickly, but the several of the doubles are still here.

There is so much to tell you, that I can’t think of it all. I’ll just have to wait to tell you everything in person.

Your family sends their love! Tell Yozak hi for me!

Always,

Yuuri
