Another day, another job

So my last day at the current job was last Friday. I kinda got screwed over by them as I put in a lot of time for them and they decided to not hire me (they found someone cheaper.) Yet, it's all good. I have an in back with them because they want me back in October if I'm not gamefully employed by then. That's when I'll be eligible to go back to
