I really think you could be best friends with Yukina. After reading it, I was trying to rock my brains for someone who wouldn't act like a rival and would listen to you while still maintaining similar views and who wouldn't mind being looked out for. In the end, I came up with Yukina.
....actually, now that I think about it, Kyoshin/Seaman would fit as well, plus he's extroverted and wouldn't force you to be social. Sorry about the double vote, but both really do fit.
