Ack, never occurred to me that bipolar medication would do that - suppose it makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

It did come to me with age to an extent, in that when I was younger I was so demotivated no technique on earth could help me. Now I've acquired a tiny, tiny spark of self-discipline/self-belief/whatever, which with a great deal of huffing, puffing and making an idiot of myself, I can sometimes coax into a small fire. Though I'm not sure whether that's anything to do with age, or just the company I've been keeping.
