I’m sitting in a café on Baldwin St. just south of U of T, called John's Italian Caffe'. I've stopped here to grab a bite and a drink. It a cozy little place. I choose and Irish coffee in memory of another wet and rainy day when I was seated in the soccer stadium in the rain.

I definitely agree that Baldwin St certainly does have some interesting places. I love wandering around that area. One of my faves is Yung Sing Pastry Shop (22 Balwin -- http://toronto.ourfaves.com/places/Yung_Sing_Pastry_Shop) where they do yummy (and cheap) Asian food. I LOVE their steamed buns with meat-and-veg inside them, and the crunchy sesame balls with yellow-bean centres, and the sweet potato fritters and the savoury rolls and yummy coconut tarts.
