Re: waxing the bottles- has anyone asked about that on the SCA leatherworking list? If not, it would be a perfect place to ask, as there are a lot of experienced leatherworkers/researchers on there, including Marc Carlson. I occasionally go on there to ask questions (or search the archives), as the answers are usually really informative and helpful.

It's not crazy-busy on there, but if you ask a question, people do respond. I've gotten some good help from people on the list in the past.

Patience is the hardest lesson to learn about performing. For me, the first time I really accepted that lesson happened because of a lack of a preparation :)

I was performing a poem that I had just written and so had not yet firmly memorized. I had it, but was forced to think for half a second to remember the next line. Fernando pointed out to me later that that half a second was the perfect length of time for the audience to catch up and that though from my point of view was this huuuuuuggge long ugly pause, it was to the crowd a proper and effective rhythm.

You're going to come sing those at Calontir at Pennsic, right? ;)

Thank you for the encouragement it means a lot...But the feedback is even more precious, so thatnks again..

I believe what affected my performance Saturday night was dehydration, lack of concentration and resulting fustration and loss of personal patience..I did not drink enought on Saturday due to the rain and cool day temp.

Pieces were not intentional. Thery are the two songs I've been practicing the most in the car..LOL.. I'm a two song pony!

Agian thatnks for the feed back and encouragement..I'll work on your suggetions
