I went to start the bike this weekend, after about 2 months of hibernation - now that its bearable to ride daily, and I got the "chug, chug, dead"... Needed a new battery. I'm surprised I didn't need one a while ago. It's the original battery... from 2001 ( Read more... )

Heh, Phoenix has a riding season that is completely opposite the northeast's. I've got a month or so left of good riding weather before things really get too cold. Maybe I should move to Phoenix for the winter. :-)

Well I guess you could ride all year long if you somehow were able to bear the 110+ heat.

Me, in head to toe gear, just not smart in summer. You find that it's not smart to be sitting in traffic with an overheating bike(my cat runs damn hot) and not shade in site.

I wish I could move somewhere else for the summer! I'm sure you would like the change. December - we see 70s almost everyday and no ice/snow ever. :) Makes up for being jipped all summer!
