SO... a lot has happened since my last post. I've finished my first year of vet school. It has been an interesting ride so far, full of constant studying, feeling like I'm back in high school (70 students with all of the same classes and a personal locker to visit in between classes...), and fun hands-on activities like bovine rectal exams and pig ( Read more... )

No worries about Co and Ed... I still tell that story because I think it's amazing that they even came back to life. It was no fault of your own, and they had a fantastic vacation with you and your little sister before their frozen journey. :)

Thanks for the congrats! I will definitely try to update more often, especially because work is kind of slow and boring as opposed to crazy and busy school.

Good luck on your journey in Nigeria -- I really enjoyed your post, too! You're rockin the weave by the way. Love it. :)

the house looks so quaint though-- perfect for you, Ted, and the numerous animals i'm sure you'll continue to bring home in the next 3 years :P

Linds! I am so happy for you, and it sounds like you are doing great. I was just thinking about you the other day and hoping that I will get to see you sometime soon (maybe when my little sis graduates from ND in a couple years...)

Congrats on your house! How awesome! Joel and I have started seriously saving for a house so that when he graduates with his masters in 18 months we can be ready. I wish we could buy one now, but not knowing whether or not we'll stay here after he graduates makes that kinda hard. I want to see pics of the inside of yours asap, though! Like D said, you're officially an adult!

Aww...I miss you so much. I still think of you every time I make pudding (which is pretty often, lol). Anyway, it was great to read about what you've been up to! Talk to you later.

ok, if you get a house, it has to be still in nevada and/or colorado (at least up until next summer) because my dad and i are planning a whitewater rafting/Las Vegas trip for next summer and if you're anywhere near the area and we have the time, i totally want to see you!

how awesome! we should definitely still be around until next summer (though, I'm pushing for us to stay in NV forever, lol). joel won't graduate until december of 2009. i am so excited that you will be somewhere within 500 miles of me! I am totally willing to make the drive to vegas or wherever; it would be awesome! sounds like a really fun trip too; you'll have to keep me updated.

You're one amazing woman, dollface. I hope you get the house! I desperately want to see the inside so that when I pretend it's mine it will be more realistic.
