Between Atlanta, GA and Venice, Italy

I'm traveling to Venice! I had a few hours layover in Atlanta, Georgia, but now I'm on my way. Is Toti someone famous? A guy wearing some sort of soccer jersey came walking through and everyone cheered.

You only saw probably Italy's best soccer player... ;-P

"Caps" in soccer are appearances for one's national team (not club team) - which is to say, of AS Roma's players, Francesco Totti has played for his country (Italy in his case) the most times.

Cool. I started following soccer just a tiny bit after being in Croatia for the Croatia vs Turkey game.

AW MAN I was so disappointed in that game. It was amazing at the end of regular time, but then...it just kept going...and a win by penalty kicks just isn't a very satisfying win. Especially for the Turks, I don't like them much.

HI!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that game went on FOREVER. I was watching it in a bar in the city we were docked at (Croatians get crazy excited about football), but I had to go back at half time because we were leaving port. Then I watched it in my room but fell asleep as regular time was ending. I never got to see the penalty kicks thing, but I was so disappointed when I found out Croatia hadn't won. :(
