EventsDid some more traveling to Fort Boring again. I managed to get out of a trip down there this weekend in exchange to be close to the computer all weekend if there happens to be an issue cropping up

Congratulations on getting to telecommute from home two days. It not only saves you a nice bundle on gas, but you don't have to deal with the frustrations of that frickin' drive to and from.
Your project is coming along nicely. Naturally, it's all Greek to me, but you're doing a nice job of implementing it.

Hey, I'm sure you can figure out wattage but you may want to drop an email to solarwindowheaters.com for the conversions from watts to btu. I build a few of their units from a set of plans and they do work. Good luck with your project and make sure we see more pictures .

Heheh conversion has never really been my problem. In fact it's easier to convert to BTU's then it is to Wattage :) I did check out the web page though. Thanks for the tip.
This one is really just a small test project for to get me to get my feet wet and test how good theradient barrier I am using it.
Indeed, and of course, there is athe fact that the connection from my house to the network at work is better then the one from the branch I used to work at ;)
Nice idea with the window heater. I hope that power supply was one that I gave ya; as it would make me feel better knowing it went to some good! ;) I might have a computer chair for you as well if your interested. Give me a call.
Hmm ya know it lmight be one of the one's you gave me. I have so many sitting around it's hard to tell. I might be interested in teh computer chair. I'll have to drop by some time and check it out.
I heard you got those two NAT servers running. Any chance I can get into them over the net?
Yep, Chris and I sat around on a saturday when his wife was out, and we had to burn some brain cells on how to get Server 2003 onto the servers, but after a little finagling, we got it done. As it stands, we need to upgrade their processors, ram, and hard drives to do the things we'd like to do with them, but the potentials there. Theyre not online just yet, and I have a feeling that setting them up and accessing them wont be an option until after Chris gets moved into his new place. The computer chair is yours if you want it.We have a tarp over it on the back porch.
