of course, that would depend on your definition of gross.

for example, my mom let me eat two servings of delicious homemade caesar salad before she told me there were raw eggs in it. i wouldn't have eaten it otherwise but now i love it.

Yeah, are we talking on the level of "the food coloring in most red fruit drinks and some yogurts is made from dried bugs" kind of gross, or something that could have serious health effects, etc.
