Even the spot of time I narrowly managed to steal now was taken out from under me. And I'm supposed to be on vacation.

So, instead of anything thoughtful, here's a self-validating list of what I'm reading at the moment:

Empire by Negri and Hardt
The Three Ecologies by Felix Guattari
Constituent Imagination: Militant Investigations, Collective Read more... )

I don't understand how you can read so many books simultaneously.
Banjo is way cool. My folks threw a new year's eve party and two of the guests brought mandolins, which are cooler still. I feel compelled to learn.
I feel like we should be friends suddenly. Of course I'm also a little drunk at the moment. When life is lackluster notions arise.
Anywho I wish you a happy new year!

Well, I've gotten to be quite flaky with my reading, unfortunately: This is leaving off the list of say, 10 unfinished books since the middle of the summer that I'm still technically "reading."

And we're friends on Livejournal and MySpace... doesn't that count for something?!

... no, really, yeah. Where the hell are you these days? I'm still around and about Bloomfield... for practically my entire life, for better or worse. Come to the Sandwich Shop on Liberty Avenue one of these days. Drop me an email or something: apperception@gmail.com and we can do the same thing I've done with every cool Plum High School graduate I've come across: Commiserate.
