I need to clean up the ends a bit (cut off the loose hair that didn't want to lock up, then proceed to do a lot of twisting to get them all nice and smooth), and I've got a lot of maintenance to do, so they don't look super awesome (yet); all the people I've talked to said it took a couple months before they look all nice. So that's one excuse for the lack of them.
Well, there was the alternator replacement because that was broken, which may or may not have been needed, but it was installed correctly: my harmonic something or another had cracked and so the alternator couldn't do its stuff. And I also got my oil checked/done, so that added to the cost. The total ended up ~$660.
Harmonic balancer? Yeah, that could fuck things up a bit. I'm willing to bet that the majority of that cost was labor though, if anything else decides to die let me know first and I might be able to save you a couple of bucks.
Harmonic balancer, yeah that's it. Cost-wise I did get a completely new alternator, so I imagine that's probably where some of it came from. ::crosses fingers:: Hopefully there won't be any problems soon.
My speedometer (sp?) still decides it doesn't wanna work (quite often), but I've learned to judge my speed by the RPM for the highway/interstate anyway (which is basically all the driving I do), so it's not a super-huge deal.
