Ok, this is quite possibly my favorite White Collar fic out there-- and I've scoured the internet for just about every one I can get my hands on.

The characters are perfect-- Peter and his well-intentioned fail, Neal and his cool exterior breaking only when Peter's around, and Elizabeth having to knock some sense into the two of them and clean up the mess they've already created.

The dialogue is snappy and very in character, conversations I could see them having with each other. They would banter around and use every meaning and intonation of something like 'intentions' to the point of annoyance.

This is one where it most definitely ends too soon and I want to see what happens when we get to see those 'intentions' played out.

Well done!

wow, thank you so much! I'm very new to this fandom and feel like I'm still feeling out the characters and trying to get them, so this was all wonderful to hear! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback :D

“I might have intentions,” Neal cut in, as though the realization had just hit.

I can hear and visualize this perfectly.

You could not have written a more delightful piece if you'd tried. And I guess you tried, so my argument is invalid.

DELIGHTFUL!
