Fandom: Hair Pairing(s): Berger/Claude, Berger/OMC Rating: NC-17 Word Count: ~4,700 Summary: It had been twenty five years and felt longer, but even with those years between them, once in a while Berger still saw Claude.
That was beautiful. I absolutely loved this grown-up, responsible Berger. I loved the waffling his head was doing between being in the moment with Charlie and thinking he was with Claude. I loved how he kept seeing Claude in other people through the years. I loved the description of Berger crawling over to Claude mid-conversation and... *coughs* distracting him. XD So damned adorable. I think that beats my "elbow to the stomach" moment, hands down. ^_^ I also loved Charlie's little streak of smartass-ness. ^_^ He's an awesome character.
But I still wish he'd been Claude.
;_; ;_;
And as a random note... Just so damned excited you wrote another Hair story!!! :D :D :D
Thank yoooou! I wish it had been Claude too. I contemplated it at the beginning, but then decided that this wasn't that story, alas. I'm glad that you enjoyed it though!

I don't know, dude. I think I disagree with you there, but thank you so much! ;)
Yeah, I could see that even as I was reading it, because you're right -- it isn't that story. And like Hair, itself, it would have lost all its impact if you'd given in to the happy "Claude's alive!" ending. And I really do like Charlie. ^_^ That "Do you have a home?" bit is priceless. ^_^ Now, all that being said... if you wanted to write that story, too... I wouldn't be unhappy about it. ^_~
I don't know, dude. I think I disagree with you there, but thank you so much! ;)
OK, a compromise then. You can like mine better and I can like yours better. Agreed? *holds hand out for a handshake* And you're welcome. *dimples*
And finally... “Woof?” Michael asked, pulling the only name he ever remembered from the stories that Berger hardly ever told.
*_* OMG. How did I forget to comment on this before? *_* <3 *_* So much love. *chuckles* I'll admit, I have a not-so-secret very tiny Berger/Woof 'shipper living in the back of my mind. I just love when their relationship shines through, even though it has to peek out from
( ... )
OMG…that was heartbreaking! Heartbreaking, yet brilliant! Poor Berger…even after all those years he still can’t let go :-( I doubt he’ll ever be able too. Thanks for sharing, was a fantastic read! x
Ok, yeah. I forgot exactly how heartbreaking that one was. I still love Charlie. I still love older!Berger and Michael and everything about this. But I still cried my way through reading it, too. TT^TT SO. GOOD. ...and if you'll excuse me, I must go cry in a corner, now.
