HEY if anyone, marching band, has nothing to do on saturday... want to come to the Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps marching clinic (free for high school students) at the UW? Poor Scott, I've bombarded him, but it's open to anyone with an ID and it could be a good time. Since, after all, marching band is a good time. Tell me what you think ( Read more... )

I AM looking for good broadway suggestions. I can see one good mega-bucks show, what do you think it should be? The Producers? Or Avenue Q... Wicked... Rent? I kind of wanted to see Sweet Charity just because I really like that one song but maybe that's a bad idea.

I was gonna ask what time, because I'm gonna be in a parade on Saturday (getting over around noon..) but I guess it would make MORE sense to go to the link you provided. But yea, I'd go with you. We could get to know each other better.

go out to eat as much as possible, jewish deli is a must. go see some live music, jazz/blues are always good/ubiquitous. broadway is good, go to the thing in the middle of times square where you get half-priced tickets. MOMA is amazing, although crowded. walking around the city is fun, buy a hot dog in central park. basically get out and do stuff you'll have a blast. empire state building is overrated.
