laid-off

So yesterday I was told I was laid-off from work. While this isn't bothering in itself; the construction world does tend to lay people off in the winter after all; what upsets me is the complete and utter lack of notification. That blows, I'm sorry to hear that. You'd think people would have the decency to let you know ahead of time. You should try applying to Adelphia...they pay really well ($12/hr & good benefits too). I applied and was offered a job as a dispatcher, but I turned it down because I didn't want to commute by car and I didn't like the hours. The Post Office is also looking for some full-time help until February I think. Job hunting sucks, but I'm sure you'll find something quick.
