The Middleman and Dubby go to investigate (in hazmat suits, in case it's infected with an alien virus, contains actual aliens, or has developed artificial intelligence and has returned to judge its makers, in which case the suits are the least of their worries), but a crew of blue-jumpsuited interlopers, who claim to be from NASA, get in the way. Wendy's boss, who has been posing as a NASA representative as well, grabs the lead jumpsuited guy's ID badge, in order to call him by name while lecturing him. His name is Lethbridge-Stewart. Hee.
