As I’m sure many of you (readers) have noticed, I haven’t been updating very frequently. First there were a ton of plagiarizers upsetting me, then there were real life issues. I already ranted a little about that, so I won’t go into that again. Although I was plagiarized again, but it was taken care of n__n
Okay so life.
Starting July sixth, I was at my grandma’s for roughly ten days. I taught kindergarteners at her parish’s Bible School Program. It was hectic and wonderful and I want to have babies. Later, not now. Duh.
My grandma has no internet at her house. Every time I piggybacked off of the connection of one of her neighbor’s, they booted me off. Assholes. So I had like 30 minutes of internet in the morning and afternoon when I was at the school where the bible school program was being held. But on Thursday it just flat-out died and goodbye internet.
And when I got home, guess what.
Our house lost internet. Because of Verizon, because of the storm, because I have horrid luck.
So I went to someone else’s house to use the internet briefly. Mostly for school stuff, but also to check notifications and whatnot.
Then I went to NYC with my mom and little sister to visit other relatives. We stayed there for like five days, and then we came back home and brought my cousins with us! Internet was still eff-ed up, plus we had company, so I wasn’t able to hop on ever. A more detailed account of my ‘hiatus’ will be posted after this. Friend-locked, of course, because of privacy reasons.
I got to row again <3 We had one summer session for two beautiful hours and I was in so much pain when it was over. It was wonderful.
And then there was more life in the way. Through a boy whose name shall not be revealed to you in this public post. But it was mostly family drama that kept me away. Sigh. It never ends.

In other news...
College has started for me. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are pretty chill. I just have two classes, Calc II (easy breezey) and College Composition (writing = love). Thursdays are kinda crazy, what with Environmental Science, Molecular/Cellular Biology, and Engineering. Tuesdays, though... same as Thursdays, but with a three hour Molecular/Cellular Biology Lab at the end of the day \O/
Looking through my school’s undergraduate catalog, I learned a few things. I’m two math classes ahead of other people studying the same field as me, I chose the right thing to study, and I get to take the most kick-ass courses ever.
My Bio book weighs thirteen pounds :’D BUT! It has these pretty Aequorea victoria all over the cover!! Sigh, I love it. Calc II should be super easy. Most people studying Env Sci take pre-calc during the first semester of freshman year (lol), but I took Calc I as a junior in high school (at the college I’m attending, incidentally, and I was at the top of my class and got a 98 on the final exam), so they aren’t making me take two steps back. Thank goodness.
I had no idea I had to take Engineering, but I’m excited for it. It’s my only real lecture class, and out of the 56 or so students, there are only five girls, myself included. Environmental Science will probably be my favorite. My professor is awesome and knows her shit and I love what we get to learn about. I haven’t had a lab yet, but I’m sure I’ll love it. I love labs. I also get to take College Composition. Writing \O/ Watch me fail that class the hardest. Just watch. Bio is awesome, surprisingly, and my professor for that class is probably my favorite.
So since my classes don’t seem horrible, I should be able to update consistently :) It’ll most likely be every Sunday, but don’t kill me if I miss a day. I’m a busy university student now, you know.
OH AND I HAVE A JOB! I get to work four to five days a week, including the weekend, and get paid minimum wage. I’m an assistant dietary aid. Yay.
I also have a life.
And a boyfriend.
Whut.
~Andi
TL;DR
I had virtually no internet during my hiatus. College started. Updates will be as consistent as possible. I have a job and a boyfriend. Brenda is my penguin ♥
