Politics aside, Planned Parenthood has provided me with many great experiences in my short time with them. I've grown so much as person and become so much more confident with who I am and my ability to be successful thanks to Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin. I don't know what other experiences you've had with Planned Parenthood, but if you've had any, please please please write to your state rep and congressman Paul Ryan about how important PP is and include your personal story. It may not sound like it'll do any good, but every little bit counts. (not to mention, he friggin' works for you and has to do what his district tells him to do. I love democracy)

I don't blame you for wanting punnnnccchhhes. A friend of mine wrote a really great and powerful letter (she's 17 on top of it) to our congressman and personally delivered it and chatted with him about other things. I was like "holy crap, how did you do that?" I would have probbaabbbly gone apeshit and/or cried.

Amazing self control that young lady has.

Its so bogus that Conservatives attach the abortion issue to this removal of funding. Its one thing to attack PP but its quite another for them to pretend it has something to do with the abortion issue.

Exactly. You can't use state or federal funding for abortions to begin with. I feel bad for being so judgmental against conservatives and repubs but come on. They clearly are being completely ignorant on the issue.

I find it baffling that right-wingers believe that it's better to bring unwanted child into the world (for whatever reason), thus negatively impacting on a mother, child and even society as a whole than to allow abortion. You guys do great work!
