I am so glad to see this journal entry. The Virginia Tech situation has been on my mind the past few days. I don't think I've ever watched and read so much news. I've shed many tears for the victims and their families, and my heart goes out to them.. Can you imagine? The victims are going to school to get an education and to enrich their own lives. The ONE place you should feel welcome, and this tragedy occurs. You really begin to appreciate life and everything around you when something like this happens.
This VA Tech massacure caused more pain within myself than 9/11. I believe it hits closer to home when you're a student and it could happen on your own campus. I also do not believe I was old enough during 9/11 to really fathom what had happened.
Anyways, off my soap box now. I was just really happy to see you acknowledged this and feel the same as I do.
We are beyond lucky, aren't we? I love you Zach. I don't think I can tell any of my loved ones that enough now.
