Erika emailed me the paperwork. Then I called her to ask about the specifics. She said they had to be synchronized in order for it to go through. Then we got into an argument about whether or not I had to pay taxes. Finally I asked if I could come over because A.) Other than at Goodwill I don't have access to a printer. B.) We had to have the forms

we can't go through life comparing our pain to that of our neighbors though - everyone has problems. yes, complaining about stubbing your toe is fine - despite the guy down the road who had a leg amputated.
You are entirely entitled to own your grief and pain in this divorce. other peoples' misery and pain don't negate yours. the fact that you can have empathy for the suffering and plight of others might help you see yours in a different light, but you still can own it fully.
