I've fallen off the LJ map completely--haven't read/updated since being in the States--but just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am still alive & kicking, and that all is more or less well, just wildly busy, leaving me little time for LJ fun

Ah, you'd returned, but then again, you have truly fallen off the map.
I fear that we will never meet again, the contingencies of friendship
being what they are. Nonetheless, you have fascinated me as much as
you have inspired me.

I have no reason to believe that we'll never meet again, given the overlap of common people and interests... but you never know. The fascination/inspiration are mutual, so I do hope that something will work out.
