I am also a bit shocked, but I have a question: who sold him cigarettes, if smoking is not allowed in Japan? It was an adult man/woman, right? They, the adults ruined his career. And they, the adults should be punished for it.
Or maybe Ryu stolen those cigarettes from his parents?
Whatever... here in Europe someone caught on smoking, like Ryutaro will probably say: I am sorry! and it will be the end of the problem.
Nobody will even think about removing him from the band.
Japan is very different country in this case.
Personally I think it was his jealous girlfriend (not Shintaro I hope), who gave these pictures to the press.
I hope he will be ok, but I am afraid about his position in school. Recently he was join "stars" class in his new school. Now he can be removed from it. Or maybe not?

Umm.. We can't really say "They, the adults ruined his career. And they, the adults should be punished for it." cos' here in my country, and maybe in other countries as well, it happened some people sold cigarettes in underage especially of course, if they don't really know whether a person is still "UNDERAGE" or not.. and if the elders or adults realy sold him cigarettes, maybe they just don't know it's Ryu.. I mean, maybe when Ryu buys cigarettes, he's in disguise right? xP

anyway..i think it's really someone who's jealous of him who leak his photos..
YEah, i hope he can still continue being a smart student though his in this stage.. :)) i hope this issue won't let him down..

Now, all we can do is to continue supporting him! ^^♥

Yes, of course you are right. We should support him.

But here, in Europe, people who buys alcohol or cigarettes can be asked for their ID card by the staff, because SELLING these "goods" to underage persons is a crime.

Ryutaro has been punished for smoking and nobody will be punished for selling 14 yo boy cigarettes (he started smoking in that age, right? Personally I think he started smoking after HSJ creation, because of stress. I remember any interview with him, when he told he couldn't sleep before HSJ first performance.) - it's not fair!

Well, let's think positive about his future, pray for him and support him if he will start any solo activity.
