Off to salem for my brother's first Family weekend in college. Fun fun Oregon *sigh* I really hate that state, far far too many cops espically if you have out of state plates. Ah well it shold be fun and my parents are paying for everything, which is a first, so oh well, I hope i can relax some. have a good weekend everyone.

I'm not a big fan of Oregon simply because it's this useless 300 miles of "can't pump your own gas" and traffic between here and home.

But really, I wouldn't mind if we folded the world up like a map and lost everything that was between Sacramento and Olympia. Maybe we could keep Ashland, or at least transplant it.

Cops aren't an issue if you don't speed or do anything else illegal. I lived and drove in Oregon for quite some time, including with out-of-state plates, and I never had a problem. Speed demon!

Speaking of demons, Jason really does look devilish in that one picture. And he has that look on his face that he gets when he's trying to get away with something. Who needs red-eye reduction? Then you don't get fun pictures!

Clearly I haven't told you the story where me and E got pulled over for speeding (E was driving) but we talked our way out of it only to get pulled over for no reason about an hour later (after the frist cop we were beging very careful) where he pulled out, followed us, pulled us over for a bogus reason (yeah that thing in your window creates a blind spot he says as cars zoom by with even more stuff in their windows) then asks if I have a weapon, asks if he could look under the seat, has me get out, pats me down, checks under the seat (for a weapon he said, something about me shifting in my seat when he pulled us over, like I was hiding something) and between the seat, then lets us go. It was the most random and intimidating thing I've ever been through. There was no reason for it, it was totally bogus and it was humiliating. I will never trust a cop in Oregon again ( ... )
