I'm still really enjoying rehearsing.

Really extra proud of midsummers so far.

Our opening night is next Thursday,
but our dress rehearsal is to all the other cast, directors of the company plus 150 school kids..so i'm excited about that too...

*really* enjoying rehearsals. I realise that i'm really quite lucky professionally right now.

I think Puck, in the outdoors, with a talented, friendly cast for the whole summer is a god send.

I just got cast as Puck in an open air touring production of Midsummer Nights Dream, and also Silvius in As You Like It. Really, one of those first dreams come true.

So, happy.

The agent never contacted me. In fact, apparently i was't even in the list of people worth contacting to say 'no.' I'm pleased with myself though. It was a much quicker process of "I'm such a shit actor- I quit..." to "Lets prove those f**kers wrong..." and now i can get on with it. Last couple have days been spent in Rome. It kinda goes without saying, but Rome is absolutely beautiful. Really stunned by the history and sheer importance of the place. Less impressed with the tourists, and my general lagging sense of wanting to be in the country..but at least it was pretty! Have had a couple of really cool schools, which again ( Read more... )

Not a huge lot to say. Tour is moving along well. I have still had enough and cannot wait to get home but at the same time, I have more then resigned myself to just enjoy it and get on with it.
