There's an article in today's New York Times about the Law & Order franchises (and I was disappointed to hear that Conviction was cancelled. Poor Dick Wolf can't catch a break with the lawyer dramas).

It also includes a totally sweet chart of the progression of characters, which is cool.  Check it out.
