My only regret with Grell is that I use male pronouns in narrative, but otherwise I'm not sure how to keep people from assuming that gender identity = biology too.

EDIT: Also, I think Grell is bisexual, not straight, though obviously with a considerable preference for men.

I would say just go with the female pronouns and bring up her sex OOC when necessary? But I have never RPed a trans character so I could be way off base here.

Also I agree with you on Grell being bi. Well, mainly I see her as Sebastian-sexual, but yeah, she definitely was into Madame Red.
