lol yeah but at least you get to hold your baby. Liam doesn't like it much when I try to scoop him up anymore. That and I really don't have a lap for him to sit on.
I like the term jaxy though. I think I'll be using that one. Lol
I know exactly how you feel, though I'm not going through it at the moment. I had SPD with my second and it was hell! Screaming agony and falling down in a heap of tears when trying to get your undies on is not fun :(
Depending on what the pelvic pain is, you may want to get yourself checked out for SPD. If you are in pain trying to go up or down stairs and just lightly lifting your leg causes severe pain, you may have SPD. There are certain birthing positions you should not use when you have SPD so it's important to get checked for it if you're getting throbbing/grinding pain in the pelvic region. SPD stands for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (it's sometimes called Pubic Syphysis Dysfunction, which is just the English version of the Latin name) and it's caused by the pelvic bones grinding due to the loosening of pelvic muscles during pregnancy. It's not a very well known condition but it hurts like a bitch!
Uh! I had never heard of SPD before. I went to bed really early last night and it's feeling better today. Getting into the bed is a challenge cause hoisting my leg up on the bed and then bringing the other to meet it is painful. I have an appointment on wednesday so I'll be sure to mention it to the dr. Thank you!
Yes so close! lol I'm hoping at my next appointment on Wednesday we will nail down when it's going to happen. I'm 99% sure I'm having another section so I'm thinking they may let me choose a date. I'm liking Oct 14th very much. It has a nice ring to it :)
I'm getting excited too! lol ... but it's more along the lines of impatient! I'm totally ready. The throbbing crotch is a little bit better. I'm trying to get enough sleep and not sitting or standing in the same position for too long and that seems to be helping. I did talk to my DR. and I'm scheduled for a repeat c-section on Oct. 14th. I can't friggin wait!
