1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.

It wasn't an intentional sidestep, I would trust that you would try and do what's best for the nation.

1) Has the way you managed emotions when you were younger affected the way you manage emotional situations in the present?
2) If you could go back in time to get the lottery numbers for an upcoming $300m jackpot, would you do it?
3) What one event in time would you say most embodies our friendship?
4) If you had to choose between a Ph.D. and becoming a bestselling author, which would you choose?
5) Would you ever work for me?

1) I changed the way I handle situations completely during my rebuilding in 2002. Before I buried shit and stayed solid by constantly reaffirming what I wanted to act like. When that finally completely collapsed I started saying exactly what I felt/meant and handling crap right when it came up. Now I act like what I always wanted to be naturally, and I've not had a bipolar episode in three years and counting.

2) Without a second's hesitation.

3) The present, as we are increasingly on equal footing. For much of our friendship it's been imbalanced in one way or another.

4) Probably the bestselling author. Ph.D is a recognition of equal footing with the best in the field. I could still work towards that level without ever officially obtaining it, and while it might bug me from time to time, my piles of money would help dry my tears.

5) I don't think it'd work unless we were at least equal partners.

I've been interviewed many times already, but I'm curious as to what you would ask me so: interview me.
