dear internet,

i broke my external disk drive tonight, which had all 5 seasons of queer as folk (US) on it. :( :( :( :(

does anyone have any episodes they can send me on yousendit.com or something to help me start my collection back up again? i am pretty devastated about losing it all.

Go to a computer store and get a new external hard drive casing. If the disc itself is fine, this should be a cheap and easy solution.

aaah thank you so much, you're such a sweetheart. best buy told me it was going to cost $600-700 to retrieve the data, so i had my dad get in touch with his tech team through the university, and they're going to take a look at it when i'm home in a couple of weeks. hopefully they'll give me a reasonable price/be able to get the data off -- i'll let you know!
