have returned from jordan, fully alive and very, very jet lagged. livejournal too overwhelming to catch up for 10 days. will resume actively lurking starting in 3, 2, 1....
I'll likely be attending Penn Law in the fall (from berkeley undergrad as well); if you have time, could you please share some opinions on the place? Are the people as 'collegial' as advertised; how heavy is the courseload; is it better to live near Rittenhouse square or campus?
hi! how on earth did you find me? i don't mind at all telling you about penn law... you can ask as many questions as you have. i'll do my best to answer, although my experience hasn't necessarily been representative

thanks for the reply! I found your lj through the ucb lj group-- there was a post a really long time ago about lsat classes and you replied that you were going to a top 10 school, and I've been reading your lj on and off ever since... sorry if that sounds creepy! I've been reading the penn-related threads on tls, but yours is the only candid blog-like thing written by a penn student i've found (in comparison to the numerous 1L blogs by cls/nyu students)
I have another question: what do you suggest for pre-1L prep? I just got getting to maybe, and will probably start looking at leews ... in terms of more substantive prep, would you suggest looking through e&es and other supplements? On a similar note-- are there any things that you wish you would have known before starting 1L, school-related or not? Was it difficult transitioning to east-coast weather?
I know you are probably really busy right now, but really, thanks for your time-- I appreciate it!
