My brother came up for the weekend to help celebrate Donna’s birthday, and it was awesome having him a part of the gang for both nights.

I wonder if what the pharmaceutical labels mean by "alchohol will intensify the effect of this drug" is that it makes you super happy...like hyperactive manic happy? 'Cause I'm feeling a little too happy for my own good. Seriously. I need a dose of sobriety.

I just texted my step dad. And it was really weird because he responded.
I dunno…strange.
Anyway…this morning he left a voicemail telling me about a family friend whose son was killed in that helicopter crash in San Diego yesterday. He was actually the son of my dad’s best friend, but my stepdad knew him too. Bend is small.
