I've been aware of the algorhythm for years. I delivered pizzas to a university, which had a program allowing them to use student meal money to buy from Domino's, Papa Johns, and/or Pizza Rita. But the access to their account was using their Social. They would be stunned when, having taken their number, I could tell them where they were born.
