Random update thingey
I hate posting, I am not a wordy person. I find it difficult to get my feelings into text. I am better at expressing them in person, but even then I have problems. Gahh, bloody dyslexia.
Other things that have been happening;
Not cheap though, spent over 100 notes all told.
Friday night at The Beer Engine getting nicely wasted on a 4 pint jug of Scrumpy Jack, preceded by a SubWay and followed by a large pizza. *burp*
Saturday involved my first game of Quasar, with sobrique and ehrine We lost the first game, but had a convincing win against 8 or so kids. The off to the cinema to see "The Manchurian Candidate" (I wonder what it would have been like if it was the Mancunian Candidate)
Sunday was SINergy.
Bob (my character for those of you who do not know) did not get up to much. Got shot by Santa :(
I had a great time when we scared half the player base by having 5 Turing agents showed up. Think of the Turing Commission as a cross between Blade Runners, MIB and any other shadowy agency that makes people disappear from their beds at night.
There are apparently loads of BNP/National Front supporters in my area. Nearly 400. I would detail how I know this, but I am really paranoid about putting down rumors or 2nd hand info into print.
Probably goes back to when I was doing work experience with British Gas. The report the I handed into the supervisor said that the engineers met up for lunch at a local park cafe. Not a problem you would think, but they got into trouble for that one. Fortunately they could not get too shirty about it as I missed out about them nipping over to the cafe for a mug of char as soon as they had clocked in.
I also hear that a new firearms officer in the area is a woman who hates guns. Great, I think I will get my second cabinet bolted to the wall and approved before the old one leaves.
I have to go now and fix my bed, I sat down on it this morning and broke the damm thing :( Fortunately the damage can be fixed by the application of a few 2" nails.
