i agree with you...i think rida knows everyone's looking up to him so he couldn't (shouldn't) fall below their expectations...

that's what makes him an amazing rida!

first of all, he's a person with a very big heart! being a good person inside illuminates outside ne?

he's loving and so he's also easily loved by many.

i know he has all the qualities of being a good rida...but i think the most important one when you're a leader is also to be a good follower. he is one of the humblest persons i've ever seen. ^_____^

btw...i'm not sure if you've seen this already but i made a video for rida's birthday...and i've included some scenes from the boato special!

Reading the essay makes me see Oh-chan in a new light.
It's just that i have just started liking Arashi for just a year or so... so i dont really know that much about the boys unlike you or any other fangirl/guy out there.
At first i thought Oh-chan was a bit you know the "loughing-stock" of the group, the stupid one...a nd all those sorts of stuff.
I never really knew....about his perseverance and dedication to his art. I never realized.(I must be looking/searching the wrong way...)
I was satisfied to think that he was that Bakka guy....
Thanks for making me the boys specially Oh-chan in a new light...
I guess they were so happy for their kohais succes even when their kohais fangirls and what not keeps on bashing them.

Hi! I just wanted to drop a comment and say how much I really appreciate you posting this essay publicly. I only recently started listening to Arashi's music and following their group, but it was through fans like you that I was able to really see Arashi as people. There's something really awesome when people share about the things they love. It really brings people together, I think, so rock on!

Also, for those of us who are new to Arashi, it's so important to have "senpai" fans to impart information like this essay. I would have never known that Ohno was so popular, because that was years ago, and I have no way of finding anything more than four or five years old. I feel like most of us don't have the "big picture," so when you post something like this, it's a big, big help. I hope you write more about the other members too!
