Before I start, I'd just like to say that I finally took all my Christmas cards down from my front door. >_> No... really... Roy is a very good character to love <3

And you just reminded me that if I want to do what I did last year for my xmas cards I'll need to make that post sooner rather than later.

I wish we knew more about Roy's background.

So he was brought up by Madame Christmas (who is, by the way, another AWESOME character), but what else is there about his childhood? His parents? Education? DD:

I have serious love for Mustang too. He's just and awesome character, well rounded and, yeah kinda an ass but that just makes him sexier.

It's odd, because I first read the first two volumes of the manga, then watched the anime. And I watched the entire series of the first anime. At first, I could. Not. Stand. Roy Mustang. There! I said it!I was the cliche fan girl "EDWARD ALL THE WAY!". Then-and this is weird, I know- the horse-crazy part or me woke up and was like, "Okay, I know you really are for Ed, but. . . well, his last name is 'Mustang' . . . let's just give him one. more. chance." And that sealed it. I actually like Mustang's character a TON MORE than Ed, and will never forget that sad look on his face when he was in the battle with Ed, and was about to snap his fingers at the end, and then there was that flashback of Ishval. In my mind, I still think "SCARY FLASHBACK!" and mentally hide behind the couch when he snaps his fingers in said flashback ( ... )

:D I still have things in boxes but I take mine out every now and then and do the same too. It's nice to have cards to look back on. :3

haha I agree with everything you said. I do really like the women characters in FMA. Like you said, they are strong characters, and not one dimentional, which is something you don't always get from many anime.
