Fruit Salad recipes

Brandy and I are trying to eat healthier, and fruit salads sure are a good way to do this thing. My favorite preparation method is to make it in the morning and keep it at room temperature until lunchtime. We even managed to go all organic except for the juice! Both recipes make two servings.

Mediochre. The kiwis were tasty, but the pear was too ripe to make for good salad material.
  • One Gala apple
  • One Bartlett (?) pear
  • Two kiwis
  • 1/4 cup orange juice, high pulp
Tasty! The contrast between the orange and the milder fruits really helps.
  • One Gala apple
  • One Valencia orange
  • Half of a banana.
  • One peach
  • 1/4 cup orange juice, high pulp
A word of warning: Don't wait until dinner or the next day to eat the pear. It winds up tasting grainy and liquefies when you bite into it.
