So another preview of what I've been working on for a while now. I hope this excites some of you. There're screenshots and a pair of videos you can get to from there, too.
I don't think I can say what role I have on this project.
And yes, taking an RTS and moving it to turn-based is the best thing ever for a DS game. You can also grab Age of Kings DS which has a great multiplayer experience that's way different from Advance Wars.
Have you played Days of Ruin yet, by the way? If so, what did you think of it?
Lastly, the table PC would not only make RTS's the best thing ever, but D&D. Real miniatures on a dynamic map would make everything win.
Yup. Days of Ruin is good, but I didn't think it was as fun as Dual Strike. It's probably better balanced (no crazy insane unbalanced CO powers I think), but that makes it a bit more boring for me. To be fair, I did only play 5 or 6 missions into the game.
I can't wait for augmented reality to hit the tabletop gaming. Unfortunately, D&D tend to do so poorly at online offerings that I'm guessing we'll have to wait for third party folks to handle that one. At least, until the Hasbro Activision Blizzard merger.
