The idea that an online petition is a realistic way of challenging the administration is as absurd as the changes that the administration is planning to implement. Administration's pet or not, you won't be taken seriously if this is how you go about confronting them. I recommend talking to the administration yourself immedeately, and when that fails (which it will), talk to some students and teachers--Weisberg, maybe--and get them on your side. Real action on your part is inevitably going to have to wait until the fall, but that shouldn't matter. In September set to work going through the bureaucracy again; formally present your case to Genaro, Student Council, Doc Dennis, whomever you're able--all with lots of student press coverage.
The petition is an exercise in futility. The only way to win in Packer is to beat the administration at their own game. Perservere and be smart about it, and you may get something done,
