Last week I took an 80-hour hiatus from being awake. This week I reap the painful harvest. So don't worry if I pretend to not exist -- I'm just working my buns off to get back up to speed. -

Plants are hot. Today my lab partner Ulyses showed me the cacao greenhouse he works in. So jealous. :) But it is even hard to concentrate on plant science, because I seem to be in constant-nympho-mode. Gr. -

I'm settled in at Rutgers. New Jersey is actually warmer than Boston, and the campuses (there are five of them, and I have only been to 3) are pretty. I'm a little behind in my classes due to getting sucked into an 800-page book last week, but I'll catch up. My classes are fantastic. I spent the latter half of my weekend and yesterday staring, glazedly, at the TV without bothering to leave the house except for food. It would have been really depressing, but my housemates and Kim and Kara (and Buffy) kept me company -- thank god for escapism. I'd like to hibernate now.... I will tell you why. Due to all the snow between my cousins and their cape cod house, I find myself unexpectedly free this weekend! At least I can sleep in tomorrow. Tonight, I will behave myself at Saturnalia on 5th east. I need to head over there really soon so I can lend Sarah my CD of geeky potential strip-worthy songs. -
