Just got home from blissfully chilly California! I saw seals, a purple finch, cowbirds, a very alarmed looking blue bird in a bush in the Japanese Tea Garden, some Stellar jays, and a golden eagle. And so many beautiful flowers and trees. I learned that dinosaurs lived in the redwood forests we visited. Mmm... I have to say, east coast rocks ( Read more... ) -

Taking neuroscience at BU, attempting to be disciplined and smart and failing. That's about it. But I went on an awesome camping trip with Laura and Beth in New Hampshire last weekend. Ok, please no missing persons reports. I have just been hiding at home since Wednesday night and sleeping like a cat. I am really quite satisfied with staying in my room for days just reading and drinking decaf tea. Becca and Laura rock. They rescued me from having to walk home barefoot in a state of utter depression, and instead I got to hang out with them in the Commons while munching delicious bagel matter.
Tonight I am seeing my cousin Paul and then going to Manray in the shortest dress imagineable. -
In which the protagonist is sleepy
I just woke up! And it is late. I must go catch ze bus at some point. I wonder how long the bus to Harvard takes.
What should I do this summer? Exciting Jersey neuroscience research, or Boston?
I'm still attempting to get a job here for the nxt few months, and my lab hasn't gotten back to me yet. *sigh* -

Yay for bunnies. They are soft. And, I am told, tasty, but that is too nauseating for me to think about very much. Which reminds me. Sushi is my favorite food ever. But I eat too much fish. I have eaten almost as much as my cat this week. Which is a lot, let me assure you. My brains are probably getting poisoned with mercurial mercury ( Read more... )
