This was so good that I may have literally face planted on my desk. Seriously, I had just said to a friend the other day that I wanted a story where Erik loves Charles to the point of desperation and stupidity and there can never be enough, even if it doesn't work out in the end, and then...you delivered it. So yeah...face planted on the desk reading this and stopped myself twice during it to try and prolong what I realized midway through was just a fantastic story. Thanks for writing this. So freaking good. I love Erik being drawn to Charles over the years; he just can't stay away. I really felt the love and regret between them. And bravo for including the jail scene; it fit perfectly.
